Mysterious Romania (XVI) Fall in my Country

While reading the post and watching the images, turn on the sound and listen to the Incredible Romania Ballad, written by, naturally, a famous Romanian composer Ciprian Porumbescu.

                     Enjoy!
                                      Downloaded from Youtube.
It’s true that Romania is the homeland of Count Dracula, the infamous vampire, but when you visit this country in autumn you are not only going to enjoy its imagery of medieval castles

but also spectacular views of autumn’s finest foliage.

Come to Romania to enjoy long walks in leafy parks dusted with crunchy auburn, red and gold leaves.

Or visit the rural areas for a rustic experience and fill your lungs with the strong, fresh air in the mountains.

It’s also hard not to feel starry-eyed among the rolling hills

and fragrant vines of wine regions.

  1. What beautiful music and scenery! Thank you for giving us a wonderful way to start a productive Monday. Here in Central Florida we are still in the throes of summer, just a few days ago experiencing a hurricane. I love Florida but envy the fall colors everyone else gets so much earlier.

    1. Yes, a blessed country that should have been an Eden to its population. I often wonder why it's not. . .

  2. Lovely soothing music and gorgeous images. I almost missed the dog at first because he's camouflaged by the rocks. Look at that face! Even he's mesmerized by the beauty of his surroundings. Positively lovely, Carmen. We have had a really hot summer (and are still experiencing it), but I'm looking forward to the coming harvest experience of autumn!

    1. I'm not really fond of autumn, as winter is close on her heels. But this year, up to now, it's been pleasant. I had a larger selection of images but I didn't want to bore the watchers.
The dog was so funny so I added it to the post. Taking a rest on the peak and admiring the scenery.

    1. You would love it. Now, of course it depends what area is visited. But in the rural area there's a feeling that time has topped. Thanks for checking the post!

  4. When I lived in the state of Washington, I experienced the glorious four seasons. Upon returning back to California, I truly miss autumn. There are some areas where the trees turn brilliant shades, but this is spectacular! Thank you so much for the visual beauty of my favorite season and the enchanting music. :)

    1. We still have the four seasons though it's a tendency that spring and autumn are short. From the cold of winter we go to heat. As I say we jump from boots directly to sandals.
But autumn this year is pleasant. I understand that California is so hot. I don't lie extreme heat and we had a lot this summer.
      Thanks for stopping by!
