The 777 Writer’s Challenge by Carmen Stefanescu

I was tagged by the lovely American author and  super cyber friend, Mae Clair.  She has a wonderful blog, Myth, Mystery and Romance.  Pop over and I'm sure you'll get addicted to reading her posts on cryptoids, myth and mythology.

The rules of the 777 Writing Challenge are as follows:
Scroll down to the 7th page of your  work-in-progress, count 7 lines down,  and share the next 7 sentences in a blog post.

Once you have done this, you can tag  other bloggers to do the same with their work-in-progress.

I share the 7 sentences snippet from my  WIP
         Dracula’s Mistress, paranormal historical novel.
(Two landlords' wives gossip about the prince - nicknamed by his opponents Dracula, the vampire - and his new bride. I hope to see the novel released by the end of 2015.)

"Varvara. . . yes, a popular name with Moldavians. Is it true that soon a child's coming? I'm dying to see what the princess looks like. Isn't she affected by this... how should I call it... sickness of his? The rumors... you know...the stigma. . . " Paraschiva jerked her head back and slanted her gaze in the direction of the throne.

“And it seems last night he did it again…They found another. . . ”Aspasia nodded and rolled her eyes to the ceiling.

“What? Where?” Paraschiva frowned.

I’d like to challenge the following writer/bloggers.  No worries if you can’t take part in the challenge!

  1. HI, Carmen. Great excerpt. I love the gossiping. I can just imagine what they must think of Dracula and his bride. Can't wait to discover the whole novel when it's released. Thanks for taking part in the 777 challenge and for kind words about me and my blog. :)
